IU will have one final opportunity to fine-tune its game before Big Ten play begins against the Hilltoppers. Through the first two games, the Hoosiers have dominated their opponents, scoring 107 points while racking up 870 yards of total offense. Those numbers are impressive, but they also come against weaker competition, where this level of production is expected.

The challenge now is to continue playing to that standard while cleaning up the small mistakes that can be overlooked against inferior opponents. Not every team takes care of business against weaker competition, as Rutgers, Michigan, and Oregon have shown this year. IU has handled its opportunities so far, and this final non-conference game provides one more chance to build momentum and sharpen the details before the competition gets significantly tougher.
